The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2004-born forward, Aidan Castle.
The Mississauga, Ontario product split time between the Windsor Spitfires and the Saginaw Spirit in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) where he scored 5 goals and 12 points in 42 games played between the two teams last season. The six-foot-one, 180-pound forward played three seasons in the OHL and is also the older brother of Bulldogs recruit Ryan Castle.
Bulldogs’ Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, said, “We are very excited to sign Aidan for the upcoming season. He will add a veteran presence and leadership up front and bring more speed and skill to our forward group. Aidan has elite skating ability and hockey IQ and is able to make plays at a high level.”
Castle stated, “I’m very excited to join the Bulldogs this year and looking forward to a successful year with a great team!”
Parada added, “I look forward to seeing Aidan in a Bulldogs jersey this season playing alongside his brother for the first time in their hockey careers.”
The entire Bulldogs organization would like to welcome Aidan and his family to Blackfalds!
