The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2006-born defenceman, Nathan Schaefer, to a letter of intent for the 2024-25 season.
The Detroit, Michigan product plays for the Victory Honda 18U AAA team in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League (T1EHL) and Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA).
Bulldogs’ Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, said “Nathan plays with an edge and plays much bigger than his 5’11” frame. He is an elite skater and puck handler who has a great shot as well.”
”Nathan has the ability to put up big numbers and is defensively sound as well,” Parada added.
“He comes from a great program at Victory Honda and I know he will be ready to step in and contribute in his first year next season,” continued Parada.
Schaefer currently has 20 goals and 55 points in 58 games with Victory Honda this year.
“I’m extremely excited to join the Bulldogs for the upcoming season. My family and I are grateful for the opportunity,” said Schaefer
