Whiterabbit, who comes to Blackfalds from Mahtomedi, Minnesota, where he played Minnesota High School Hockey last season for Chisago Lakes High. Whiterabbit is an 18-year-old defenceman who stands six-foot-four and weighs 195 pounds. He played in 28 Games for Chisago last season, where he had 8 goals and 32 assists for a total of 40 points.
Bulldogs Director of Player Personnel, Al Parada, is excited about Whiterabbit coming in to be a Bulldog next season, “Colton is a big body who can really skate and has good size. He plays a 200-foot game and has very good puck skills, defends very well, and we really like his offensive upside to add offence from the back end.”
Whiterabbit talked about why he chose Blackfalds to start his Junior career, “I am really excited to join the Bulldogs. I had a great time when I came up for a week’s visit this spring, and I felt that the coaching and organization were the best fit for me to develop to my full potential on and off the ice.”
The Bulldogs would like to welcome Colton and his family to the Bulldogs organization.
