Blackfalds Bulldogs are excited to announce that they have signed 06 Forward Tim-Kristian Lukkarinen for the 2026-27 season.
Lukkarinen, 19 who turns 20 in late November, comes to Blackfalds from Tumba, Sweden. He played for Sodertalje in the U20 Nationell League in Sweden last season. Lukkarinen who stands 6’3″ tall and weighs 209lbs. and was the Captain of his U20 Nationell team the last 2 seasons in Sweden, he played in 34 Games for Sodertalje last season where he had 8 Goals and 7 Assists for a total of 15 points.
Al Parada is excited about Lukkarinen being a Bulldog next season, “I watched most of Tim’s games from last season and obviously he is a high character player being the Captain of his team the last two seasons as an 18 and 19 year old. I have heard nothing but good things from people who know of Tim, and his size and ability speaks for itself. He has a very high hockey IQ and compete, and has played at a high level the last two seasons. I am looking forward to see how Tim can help our team this coming season and grow even more as a player and person.”
Lukkarinen is excited to come overseas and join the Bulldogs next season, “I am very excited and honored to represent the Bulldogs next season. Everything about the organization feels highly professional, and it provides a great environment to develop at.
