The Blackfalds Bulldogs are excited to announce the signing of 2007-born forward Josh Kaufman for the 2026-2027 season.
Kaufman, 19, who comes to Blackfalds from Kitchener, Ontario, played for the Navan Grads in the CCHL last season. Kaufman, who stands at six-foot-one and weighs 175 pounds, played 52 games for the Grads last season, where he had 25 goals and 21 assists for a total of 46 points. He also tallied 2 goals and 2 assists in the playoffs for Navan.
Bulldogs Director of Player Personnel, Al Parada, talks about Kaufman being a Bulldog next season, “Josh is an extremely talented player who plays with speed. He is the type of player who makes other guys better around him and has a nose for the net and the ability to score and create offence. Josh will bring junior experience and depth to our group next season. I am looking forward to seeing Josh in a Bulldogs jersey in the fall.”
Kaufman talks about why he chose Blackfalds for next season, “I chose to be a Bulldog next season because I have heard nothing but good things about the organization, and it is a great opportunity to better my hockey career and make me a better player and person.”
The Bulldogs would like to welcome Josh and his family to the Bulldogs organization.
