The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2006-born forward, Ben Rakowski, to a letter of intent for the 2024-25 season.
Rakowski stands at 6’1″ and weighs 180 pounds. He hails from Greenwood Village, Colorado and plays for the Bishop Kearney Selects 18U AAA team in the Northeast Pack Hockey League.
Bulldogs’ Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, stated, “Ben is a player I have been watching for a while now and is a player who has the ability to step into junior hockey right away and make an impact.”
Parada added, “Ben is a smooth skating skilled forward with good speed and hockey IQ. Ben is one of the go-to guys on a very good BK Selects U18 Prep team this season and I am excited for what Ben can do stepping into a Bulldog jersey next season.”
Rakowski currently has 19 goals and 43 points in 44 games with the Bishop Kearney Selects.
