Bulldogs Sign Ryan Castle

The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2006-born defenceman, Ryan Castle, to a letter of intent for the 2024-25 season.

Castle is from Mississauga, Ontario and plays for St. Andrew’s College in the Prep Hockey Conference (PHC). He stands at 6’2″ and weighs 180 pounds.

Bulldogs Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, likes what he has seen in the newly signed defenceman, “Ryan is a player that the more you watch him the more you like him as a player. Ryan has size, puck skills, and a high hockey IQ to make a direct impact moving into Junior next season.”

Parada added, “Ryan is not only a great defensive defenseman but has the offensive skills as well to contribute in that area as well.”

Castle currently has 5 goals and 28 points in 37 games with St. Andrew’s College, where he is teammates with fellow Bulldogs’ commit Luc Warner.

Parada continued, “Blackfalds fans should be excited about getting the opportunity to watch Ryan next season in a Bulldogs jersey.”

The entire Bulldogs organization would like to welcome Ryan and his family to Blackfalds!
