The Blackfalds Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of 2006-born defenceman, Sam Osei, to a letter of intent for the 2024-25 season.
Osei hails from Jericho, New York and plays for the Shattuck-St. Mary’s U18 team in the United States High School Prep League (USHS-Prep). He had 3 goals and 16 points in 34 games this season.
Bulldogs’ Director of Hockey Operations, Al Parada, said, “The Bulldogs are very excited to get right-shot defenceman Sam Osei from the Shattuck St Mary’s Prep U18 team. Sam is a very strong defender with great puck skills and hockey IQ.”
Parada continued, “Sam is able to play in all situations and is on one of the top U18 Prep teams in North America. Sam brings physicality and strong skating to our group on D next year and I am looking forward to seeing Sam suit up in a Bulldogs jersey next season.”
Osei stated, “I’m very excited to be a Bulldog and cannot wait to be a part of this team and the Blackfalds community. I believe we will have a really successful season with the new and existing talent along with the great coaching staff.”
